Jürgens de Hermoza, Director |
| is the Honorary
Consul of Germany in Cusco. In 1990, together with a group
of Peruvian and German friends, she founded the Cultural
Association ACUPARI and is in charge of the general direction. |

Margarita Sotomayor
Calderón |
| Margarita started working
for ACUPARI in 1998 as Spanish teacher. Today is she our helpful
office assistant, responsible for the Volunteer work placement,
cultural events and our Salsa course. |

Amy Bakal |
| Amy, with ACUPARI since
September 2008, is responsible for correspondence and marketing
in English. Amy will be glad to assist you with whatever question
or concerns you may have regarding our language courses and
your stay here in Cusco. |

Eugenia Perez Flores |
| "Mauge" studied
Language and Literature, she has been a Spanish teacher in
ACUPARI since 1998. She speaks English and she is well-acquainted
with Folklore, customs and practices in our region. |

Diaz |
Rebeca also studied
Language and Literature and has been a Spanish teacher in
ACUPARI since 1999. She is an enthusiastic cook and is in
charge of the cooking
lessons on Fridays. |

Alvaro García
Peña |
| Our charming "profesor"
was a Spanish teacher in Germany from 1990 to 1995 and has
been teaching for ACUPARI since 2000. His enthusiasm for biking
and hiking makes him take his Spanish teaching to the countryside. |

Ivonne Acurio
Avendaño |
| Ivonne began working
as a Spanish teacher in 1998; she is a psychologist, speaks
English and is also our contact person for students who need
information on tours. |

Urlanda Vasquez
Costas |
| She`s not only our
Quechua teacher but also our Peruvian history specialist.
In addition, she teaches in a small bilingual (Spanish-Quechua)
school in a small town near Cusco. |

Cecilia Huamancha
Soto |
| Cecilia is a grammar
expert and an amazingly patient teacher, too. She speaks English
well and joined our team in 2001. |

Sara Camacho |
| Sara studied Spanish
and Communication Science, and started working for ACUPARI
in 2001. She has a good knowledge of English and French. Her
sense of humor is remarkable. |

Alipio Valenzuela
Zea |
| A special spirit in
our team. Responsible for the three c's: coffee, cookies,
copies. He also takes care that all is clean and our plants
are in a good health. |

| Marion has lived in
Cusco since 1998. She is our webmaster and will gladly receive
