Our diverse cultural program perfectly complements your language course and offers numerous opportunities to apply what you’ve learned in authentic situations. Whether it’s dancing salsa, learning Quechua or cooking Peruvian dishes – with us, your language stay becomes a true experience.

Tandem – Languages and Cultures in Exchange

The TANDEM program brings together Peruvians and international language students. You learn from each other, whether in German, Spanish, or Quechua. Our Peruvian tandem partners are open-minded, curious, and often work in tourism. You meet individually – perhaps for a walk through the market, a coffee, or an outing around Cusco.

Participation in TANDEM is voluntary and free – a wonderful way to make real friendships while improving your language skills.

WEEKLY CULTURAL PROGRAM

Our doors are open not only for learning but also for relaxing, moving, and enjoying! Depending on the number of participants, we regularly offer varied activities in the cultural salon or around town.

The following activities take place regularly:

• Ping Pong – Get active in our Salon Cultural and meet new people.
• Movie Night – Films in German or Spanish (with subtitles), plus popcorn – a classic at ACUPARI.
• Regular Meetups – Speak Spanish, drink, laugh in a relaxed atmosphere, usually at a café or other cozy spot.
• Karaoke, Quiz & More – Our special events regularly create a fun and lively atmosphere in our cultural hall.

City Tour with Flavio

Flavio knows Cusco like no one else – he has lived here since childhood. Discover the city from a very special perspective with him.

Salsa Course in the Cultural Hall

Learn the basic salsa dance steps with lots of fun – in our own dance room, accompanied by Latin American rhythms and an experienced teacher.

Peruvian Cooking Class with Ivanna Lescano

In just 90 minutes, dive into the world of Peruvian gastronomy. Together with our experienced cook Ivanna, you’ll learn to prepare two of the country’s most famous and beloved dishes: Ceviche and Lomo Saltado. For refreshment, you’ll also prepare a tropical drink made from passion fruit.Course times:

• Lunch class: 12:00 – 13:30
• Evening class: 18:00 – 19:30

Introductory Quechua Course – Learn the Language of the Andes

Get an exciting insight into the indigenous language of the Andes. Learn basic words, greetings, and numbers – perfect for your stay in the region. The course lasts 1.5 hours.
